Bracken - Lines

Bracken A tiny Sportiboy, Bracken is 32" high. Overpainted of course, piebald is the favourite choice of Dads when 'smartening up the old horse'. It is easier than dappling...

Note these small Sportiboys did not usually have separately carved teeth; the mouth is just a wedge cut out of the nose. This picture shows the typical Lines 'bowler hats' or caps put on the ends of the swing irons. They may also be placed over the pins of the pillars where they come though the top rail. The bowler hats come off easily and are often missing.
