DC - Collinson
DC is another original Collinson; he is 47 inches high and was made about 1965. The horse
had also been stored for several years and the slightly damp conditions caused the wooden blocks
from which he is made to move apart leaving gaping cracks in places.
This picture illustrates the exaggerated arch of the neck which is a feature of Collinson
horses.
The cracks
and peeling varnish can give the horse
the appearance of being much older than it is to a casual observer.
