Poppet is an example of a later Ayres horse probably made between about 1940
and 1950 when the company was in different ownership but kept the Ayres brand name. Some of these horses had a white H
shaped label on the top rail - thought to be old FH Ayres Ltd labels but with the 'FH' and 'Ltd' cut out. Other horses have a silver transfer type of logo on the stand
saying FH Ayres but without the 'Ltd'.
Poppet is in original condition and is 36 inches high.
